Hanover Township to host June 16 car show

Hanover Township will host its Freedom Car Show on Friday, June 16, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at its Tiknis campus, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view many types of classic cars up close while participating in raffles and enjoying music from Howard Productions DJ. Food trucks will also be on-site. There is no charge for admission.

Trophies will be awarded to vehicle owners for, "Best of Show," "Top 10," "Hanover Township Choice," and "People's Choice."

The township will also be selling 12-inch x 18-inch American flags for attendees to purchase in the name of a veteran.

The flags will be placed along the Township's Veterans' Walkway of Honor for Veterans Day this fall on the campus.

Proceeds from flag sales and classic vehicle registration fees will support the township's veterans programs.

To preregister a car, or for more event information, please contact the Township at (630) 540-9085 or visit www.hanover-township.org.

Day-of-registration at the event is also permitted.
