Volunteers help garden at Burr Ridge Memory Care Community

A happy group recently shared more than smiles with seniors at Harvester Place, an Anthem Memory Care community in Burr Ridge. Eight volunteers with McDonald's Corporation visited the community located at 150 S. Frontage Rd. to help residents plant flower gardens.

"Our residents love interacting with everyone that spends time volunteering at our community," said Danyanique Hughes, life engagement director for Harvester Place. "Working side by side with others in the earth is energizing for all of us, and making new friends is an added bonus."
