MEGA Garage Sale returns to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Naperville
One of the largest garage sales in the western suburbs, the MEGA Garage Sale returns June 9-10 to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church's Celebration Campus, 919 S. Washington St. in Naperville.
Toys, books, clothing, housewares, outdoor items, furniture and more will be on offer at the annual two-day event.
Sale proceeds support a variety of social-services organizations serving locally, nationally and globally, including Naperville's own Loaves & Fishes food pantry.
The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 10 (half-price day). Cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Apple Pay will be accepted.
"It's an incredible atmosphere," said MEGA Garage Sale director Linda Collins. "To see so many groups and individuals within the church come together to put this event on year after year is pretty fantastic, and for shoppers, it's kind of something you have to see to believe."
"We get a lot of, 'Wow, you weren't kidding!" she said.
