Making a Difference in our Community: One Smile at a Time

A smile is so much more than just a smile. Especially to a child. A smile is how children communicate, how they make friends, how they demonstrate confidence and how the world sees them.

For many young children, orthodontic care is necessary to give them a smile they can feel good about, but it's not always financially feasible.

When Dr. Bryan Nakfoor founded NAK4 Orthodontics, he made it a personal goal to make orthodontic care more accessible, for those who need it most.

NAK4 Orthodontics has since become a proud partner in the Smiles Change Lives program which promotes and provides access to life-changing orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families. The program has treated more than 20,000 children since it's inception in 1997.

Over 700 orthodontists across the country participate, and Dr. Nakfoor is pleased to be one of the significant contributors in the Chicago area. "Seeing the payoff of what we do, truly transform a patient's life, there is no greater reward in our profession."

Alexis Barclay, Director of Provider Services for Smiles Change Lives, visited NAK4 Orthodontics in Arlington Heights, to thank the team for their dedication to its patients over the years. "If it wasn't for our network of generous orthodontists, we would not be where we are today. We are incredibly fortunate to have providers like Dr. Nakfoor to partner with us in this mission."

Locally owned and operated by Dr. Nakfoor, NAK4 Orthodontics offers a full array of orthodontic services, including braces and Invisalign, as well as early interceptive treatments for issues that can emerge in young children. But they treat smiles of all ages. Their state-of-the-art practice, with locations in Arlington Heights, Barrington and Park Ridge, offers complimentary consultations with the option to start treatment the same day.
