Feathered Beaus visit Hey Nonny

Chicago Cabaret Week kicks off on May 12 and Arlington Heights venue Hey Nonny is leading the cabaret way. The Feathered Beaus will be performing at Hey Nonny on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. Chicago Cabaret Week runs May 12 through 21 and features 13 different performances, each offering a selection of tickets for less than $30. Hey Nonny is the only suburban venue featured in the Chicago Cabaret Week lineup.

"What makes cabaret unique is how connected the performers are with the audience, creating a one-to-one relationship," explains Claudia Hommel, executive director of Working In Concert. "The cabaret scene in Chicago goes back over 100 years and today we're seeing a growing interest among artists and audiences to experience this exciting art form."

That one-to-one connection will be on full display when the popular Feathered Beaus take the Hey Nonny stage. The Beaus came together in 2017 and the group features four truly fabulous men, who - between campy comedic commentary - gorgeously sing a variety of show tunes, standards, and American pop music.

"We're thrilled to have the Feathered Beaus at Hey Nonny for Cabaret Week," said Hey Nonny co-owner Chip Brooks. "They are just the kind of fresh fun and wild talent that our audiences adore."

Hey Nonny has been a longtime presenter of some great cabaret talent, including 4 Chairs, Café Carly (a long-running series of topical shows featuring Chicago's best young musical theater talent), and even New York import Ben Jones, who sold out two shows at Hey Nonny in February.

The Feathered Beaus came together as part of The Cabaret Project, and the group includes Olin Eargle, Kyle "Kiki" Russell, Kyle "Kylie Bear" Hustedt, and Justin Harmer. They are known as "Chicago's Cabaret Boy Band."

Tickets are still available for the May 17 performance at www.heynonny.com/shows/feathered-beaus/.

Hey Nonny is a bistro and music venue located in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights. The bistro, helmed by Chef Noe, serves an array of fresh seasonal Midwestern comfort-food-with-a-twist and a seasonally changing menu. The music venue is one of the best new "listening rooms" in the country, and hosts live music six days a week, featuring the best Chicago and touring acts playing jazz, blues, country, folk, and rock.
