Hanover Township honors senior volunteers

Hanover Township officials and staff recognized more than 200 seniors at the annual volunteer award recognition luncheon April 13 at the Seville in Streamwood.

The township's Senior Center volunteers provided 18,033 hours of service in FY23 in the areas of programming, home delivered meals, front desk reception, trip escorts, lunch program assistance, and other areas.

"The township is extremely fortunate to have these volunteers, who give generously of their time in assisting staff in providing quality programming and services to our residents," said Brian P. McGuire, Hanover Township supervisor.

"We are proud to recognize them and honor this year's winners for their outstanding efforts."
