Explore Elgin Area kicks off the 2023-24 Taco Trail
Explore Elgin Area has launched the 2023-24 Taco Trail!
Beginning on April 15, and running until April 15, 2024, this delicious adventure will showcase some of the best tacos in the area and certainly give everyone something to "taco-bout."
The Taco Trail will feature a variety of local restaurants that serve up tasty tacos.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit multiple locations and check off their passports.
Once a participant has three different Taco Trail restaurants checked off their digital passport, they are entered into drawings to win gift cards. At the end of the trail, Explore Elgin Area will announce the grand prize winner of a mystery basket valued at $100.
"This is a fun way for visitors and residents to explore our diverse culinary scene and support our local restaurants," said Krisilee Murphy, president/CEO of Explore Elgin Area. "We are excited to showcase the incredible taco options throughout our region, and we hope the Taco Trail will encourage everyone to try some new dining spots over the next year."
They already have eight businesses signed up to be a part of the trail. Applications are still open to sign up other businesses so more will be announced soon.
