The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band is the community's treasure trove of musical exceptionality unique to the area. This dedicated ensemble of musicians has been culturally enriching the community for more than 40 years. Most members are not professional musicians and come to rehearsals after their regular work hours to prepare for the next performance. They play for the love of music and for the pleasure of performing beautiful music for their community.
The band is in partnership with District 214 Community Education, receives support from both the Arlington Heights Park District and the village of Arlington Heights. The mission of the Arlington Heights Community Concert Band is to provide musical entertainment to the community; to provide opportunities for community members to join and be part of a musical organization; to provide for individual musical expression and growth; and to contribute to the community's music appreciation.
Rehearsal is held at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, at Forest View Educational Center. New members are always welcome.
