Burr Ridge Art Fair to raise money for Make-A-Wish Illinois

Juried artists from around the country will be showcasing their work at the Burr Ridge Art Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-25, at Village Center, 701 Village Center Drive in Burr Ridge.

It features paintings, flat arts, jewelry, furniture, ceramics, wearables, fashion, accessories, 3D art pieces, sculptures and more at all price points and mediums.

In addition to the art, guests will enjoy live music, plenty of food and drink options at nearby restaurants, and a variety of activities for kids including face painting and a giant graffiti wall.

Artist booth chats and demonstrations add to the experience, and festivalgoers with strollers and wheelchairs can enjoy easy access to all booths.

Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a local nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing.

Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions' Green Ribbon Project.

Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur's 2022 charitable partner, Make-A-Wish Illinois.

Admission is free and there is plenty of free nearby parking.
