Gomberg Sharfman Team joins Lavelle Law
Four attorneys from Gomberg Sharfman PC in Chicago have migrated to become part of Lavelle Law. All four joined Lavelle Law, three as partners and one as Of Counsel, effective Aug. 1.
"This is an important milestone for our firm," said Lavelle Law Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "Gomberg Sharfman has a sterling reputation for matters of litigation and real estate law in particular. The addition of these four attorneys greatly enhances our already strong position in those areas of the law."
Joining Lavelle Law are Robert Gomberg, Kimberly Padjen, John Lydon, and Raymond Ostler. Gomberg, Padjen and Lydon will become partners at Lavelle Law. Each arrives at Lavelle Law with more than 30 years of experience practicing law. The Gomberg Sharfman website identified commercial litigation, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant, mortgage foreclosure, real estate, and probate as leading practice areas for the firm.
"We are exceptionally proud of the legacy we have built at Gomberg Sharfman, but equally excited about the opportunities presented by joining Lavelle Law," said Gomberg. "There is significant synergy to be gained through this move for new and existing clients at both firms."
The two firms have a long history of working together. Lavelle Law Founding Partner Kerry Lavelle traces the beginning of his law career to a Gomberg Sharfman office.
"Since my days as a solo practitioner, through the measured growth of our firm over several decades, there has always been a strong working relationship with Gomberg Sharfman," Lavelle said. "The level of professionalism and commitment to quality legal service is critical to both firms and I am so pleased to join forces with Bob and the others at the firm."
The attorneys will move to the Lavelle office at 141 W. Jackson in the Loop.
