Bensenville Park District fall program registration begins Aug. 9

The Bensenville Park District's Fall Program Guide is online and has been delivered to area residents in time to register for fall programs beginning 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 (Aug. 10 for non-residents), at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood St. in Bensenville.

Fall activity highlights include a family campout at Fischer Farm Aug. 26-27; Tiny Tot preschool programs; Clubhouse before-and-after school programs; sports such as t-ball, soccer, volleyball and cheerleading; nature programming at Fischer Farm; cultural and fine arts programs such as acting, guitar and art classes; adult trips and programs as well as special events such as Harvest Fest Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

Other special events include a Park n' Play screening of "Sing 2" at dusk Saturday, Aug. 20, in Sunset Park and a salsa-Latin jazz show by Projecto 7 at Live at White Pines Friday, Aug. 26.

The district is also planning a Bensenville Night with the Chicago Wolves in addition to its annual Monster Mash on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Resident veterans can also register for the free Veterans Day Breakfast taking place Friday, Nov. 11.

Household information should be updated with the Bensenville Park District prior to registration. Household registration forms are available at the Deer Grove Leisure Center as well as online at BvilleParks.org/forms.

The Fall Program Guide may be viewed and downloaded from the Bensenville Park District website, BvilleParks.org. Hard copies are available at the Deer Grove Leisure Center. Registration forms may be found online as well as in the back of the Fall Program Guide.

Registrations can be completed in person at the Deer Grove Leisure Center or via mail with payments included. Mail registration payments may be made by credit card, money order or check payable to the Bensenville Park District, 1000 W. Wood St., Bensenville, IL 60016.
