Barbershop Harmony at the Lake Zurich Farmers Market

The Lake Zurich Farmers Market is pleased to announce the return engagement of the Brotherhood of Harmony barbershop chorus as the featured musical entertainment on Friday, August 12, between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Farmer's Market is located at Paulus Park, 200 S. Rand Road in Lake Zurich. The program will include old favorites like "My Wild Irish Rose", rock-n-roll tunes like "Hello Mary Lou", and Beatles songs like "Yesterday". Customers are invited to sing along with the chorus.

"We sing an extensive repertoire of popular music using four-part harmony to produce the barbershop quartet sound," Chorus Director Brian Cromer noted.

The Lake Zurich Farmers Market takes place every Friday from 3 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. through September 9. Over 30 vendors are in attendance weekly offering fresh produce, bakery items, sauces, honey, pesto, spices, cheese, eggs, fresh meat, and more. The market also features booths for local artisans, nonprofits, hot food vendors and pet rescues. For more information, visit LakeZurich.org/FarmersMarket.

Village of Lake Zurich Recreation Director, Bonnie Caputo said, "We're thrilled to have this barbershop chorus back with us to entertain. I'm sure that our marketgoers will really appreciate not only the market's exciting vendors and products but also this group's lively music".

The Brotherhood of Harmony meets weekly to rehearse at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings at 225 E. Helen Rd, Palatine (DeerGrove Covenant Church). If you love to sing, the chorus has openings for all parts and skill levels, so come join us. For more information, visit BrotherhoodOfHarmony.org or call 262-394-6380.
