Canopy Home Watch Plus earns NHWA's fourth-year accreditation

Canopy Home Watch Plus has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the fourth year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org). Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that "keeps an eye on things" at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence.

Owner Stuart Golden has over 30 years experience in contracting, beginning with a sales and customer service role in 1989 and transitioning into management, leading to ownership of a contracting business for over 20 years.

Working with many different trades, Stu fully understands the importance of keeping an eye on unoccupied properties and has a keen eye for identifying potential areas of concern. Over the years, he has been made aware of many costly and even tragic situations which have occurred while properties remained unoccupied and unattended to. It is for these reasons that he chose to enter into the Home Watch business in an effort to protect the property and the homeowner.
