Barbershop chorus to sing at Palatines senior center
The Palatine Township Senior Center announced that the Brotherhood of Harmony will provide musical entertainment for its "Celebrate the Fourth" themed luncheon Thursday, July 7. The program will include a number of patriotic songs, popular tunes and old favorites.
"We really enjoy presenting a program tailored to our audience and the occasion, and using our four-part harmony to produce the barbershop quartet sound," chorus Director Brian Cromer said.
The Palatine Township Senior Center offers monthly themed luncheons and other social engagement programs. To register for the July 7 fried chicken luncheon, call (847) 991-1112 by July 1. The cost is $10 for senior center members; $12 nonmembers.
The senior center also offers game, craft, exercise, and travel programs, as well as Social Services and Adult Day programs.
The Palatine Township Senior Center, a nonprofit organization, provides programs and services that support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community.
