Hanover Township youth to hold garage sale fundraiser

Hanover Township Youth & Family Services will hold a garage sale fundraiser on Friday, June 24 at the Town Hall (250 S. IL Route 59, Bartlett) and Saturday, June 25 at the Izaak Walton Youth Center (899 Jay Street, Elgin). The sale will be held 10AM to 3PM on both dates.

All proceeds will fund scholarships for Township youth to attend the Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute next month at Eastern Illinois University, a five-day conference whose mission is to empower youth with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug-free life.

Garage sale donations are also being accepted until Monday, June 20 at the Town Hall. Please no furniture or other heavy items.
