Free Kidney Screenings at Hanover Township

The Hanover Township Office of Community Health is offering a free kidney and health screening on June 30 at the Township Senior Center, 240 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett, from 10AM to 2PM. This event is held in partnership with the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.

"One in three adults is at risk for kidney disease," said Kristen Smith, Director of Community Health at Hanover Township. "Residents who may be considering a screening or know there is a family history are encouraged to schedule an appointment."

Screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, blood sugar, and body mass index will also be offered. Participants will review results with a health care professional following the screening.
