Geneva church to host Easter Eggs & Earth Day Celebration April 16

Area families are invited to the Easter Eggs and Earth Day Celebration hosted by the United Methodist Church of Geneva on Saturday, April 16.

It will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. in Wheeler Park, off Route 31 in Geneva.

Stop by the pavilion and make a seed ball for Earth Day.

Children are encouraged to bring their Easter baskets and participate in the Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m.

Registration is not required for the event.

The church also invites the community to the Good Friday prayer vigil from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 15 in the church sanctuary at 211 Hamilton St. in Geneva. An evening service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Join a shared Easter Sunday worship experience, led by Tri-City United Methodist pastors, at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 17. This 20-minute service will be held under the gazebo at Geneva Garden Club Park, 35 N. River Lane in Geneva. Bring a blanket or chair.

The Easter worship will begin at 9 a.m. online or in person at the Geneva church.

The church is organizing its annual rummage sale and bake sale, set for Thursday to Saturday, April 21-23, in the church fellowship hall. Sale times will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 22; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 23. Proceeds will benefit local charities.
