Hey Nonny Hosts Easter Brunch on April 17

Hey Nonny will be the local hot spot for Easter brunch again this year. A special three-course brunch menu will be offered on April 17 with seatings at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. In addition to food, each seating will feature swinging jazz by Chicago favorite Jeanne Becker accompanied by pianist Chris White.

For the first brunch course, guests will choose between a Berry Spinach Salad and Maple Glazed Biscuits. The second course choices include Lobster Benedict, a Garden Quiche, a Steak & Eggs Skillet, a Brisket Feast, and Easter Glazed Ham. The final dessert course options include Classic Key Lime Pie or Spring Carrot Cake. There is a separate three-course menu for children.

"We love the Easter Brunch," said co-owner Chris Dungan. "It is so much fun for families, with wonderful food and a live jazz accompaniment. It's both fun and classy, which is always our goal."

In addition to being a popular suburban listening room, Hey Nonny has earned a reputation for being a foodie destination. "Chef Tony always comes up with special occasion menus that are both interesting and delicious," said Dungan. "I'm personally going for that Lobster Benedict!"

Singer Jeanne Becker began her musical career with a long stint in Denver, where she led the aptly named Jeanne Becker Band. Since taking up residence in Chicago, Becker has played every major jazz venue in Chicago.
