Friendship Village Residents Show Their Creativity Through Paint and Sip Program

Twenty-five artists explored the beauty of a winter wonderland at Friendship Village's first Paint and Sip program of the year.

Led by Lifestyles Activity Coordinator Amanda DeLaMatta, the popular program features step-by-step instructions for painting a masterpiece. While wine is usually being served during session, this one featured "to go" prepackaged champagne and sparkling cider.

"Our residents have really enjoyed this program, as it's given them an opportunity to be creative in their own, unique way! The beauty of this class is that we are able to celebrate everyone's varying skills, and the outcome is always so wonderful. We look forward to continuing this program and creating activities that help nourish our resident's creative and artistic sides,"said DeLaMatta.
