Nominations now open for Supervisor's Community Service Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2021 Annual Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire Community Service Awards. The awards are designed to recognize organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to make Hanover Township an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family.

Awards are selected by a committee of dedicated volunteers from the community. Committee members include: Lorrie Glaser - Chairperson, Lori Ann Airdo, William Henderson, Kerrie Trebonsky, and Mary Wojtczak.

Individuals and organizations can be nominated in any of the follow categories:

- Adult Volunteer (18yrs. or older) Service Award - Senior Volunteer Service Award

- Business Community Service Award - Service Club/Organization

- Youth (under 18) Volunteer Service Award

Award applications are available at the Hanover Township Town Hall at 250 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett, or online at www.hanover-township.org. Nominations are due no later than February 26.

Candidates will be judged on their leadership, commitment and impact in the community.
