Hanover Township Winter Break Open Gym schedule set

Hanover Township's free Winter Open Gym program will be held from noon to 4 p.m. beginning Dec. 27-29, and Jan. 2-5.

• The Izaak Walton Youth Center, 899 Jay St., Elgin: Dec. 27-29 and Jan. 2-5.

• Ontarioville Elementary School, 2100 Elm Ave., Hanover Park: Dec. 27 and Jan. 3

• Oakhill Elementary School (502 Oltendorf Road, Streamwood): December 28 and January 4

• Parkwood Elementary School, 2150 Laurel Ave., Hanover Park: Dec. 29 and January 2 and 5.

Open to all students in grades K-8. Registration is required. Arts and crafts, group activities, video games and other seasonal fun await participants. The Open Gym Program is also guaranteed to give youth a positive experience and the opportunity to meet new friends from across the community.
