Cal's Angels 'War On Wheels' ride into St. Charles Oct. 11

Join Cal's Angels, a leading pediatric cancer nonprofit, as they celebrate the return of the 2021 War On Wheels ride cyclists at Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling Co. from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11.

Riders will be returning home after biking nearly 1,000 miles from Mount Rushmore to St. Charles, Illinois over the course of two weeks. Celebrate the riders return home by raising a glass to their return and fundraising efforts.

Money raised will go toward pediatric cancer research, wish granting and hospital programming - including Cal's Angels comfort kits, which are available to pediatric cancer patients throughout the Chicago area.

Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling Co. is at 106 S. Riverside Ave. in St. Charles.

Cal's Angels kicked off the third annual WOW Ride on Sept. 29 at Mount Rushmore with Cal's kid, cancer survivor and 2020 Olympic silver medalist triathlete Kevin McDowell.

Cyclists will have biked nearly 1,000 miles through South Dakota and Iowa to Cal's Angel's hometown of St. Charles, raising awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and family support and programming.

Cal's Angels is a nonprofit organization with a mission to raise awareness, grant wishes and fund research for pediatric cancer research.

Beyond their fundraising events, Cal's Angels is also working to introduce Cal's Law, which aims to make diagnostic testing for pediatric cancer patients more accessible. The bill was recently signed into law in Illinois with plans to introduce it in states across the country.
