Appointments can also be made on the phone or website

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) has administered more than 40,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and wants to reach more individuals by now offering the vaccine without an appointment.

The NCH Vaccine Clinic at 3060 Salt Creek Road in Arlington Heights is administering first doses without an appointment on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Those who received a first dose elsewhere and would like to receive their second dose at NCH are encouraged to call (847) 618-0242 to schedule the dose to insure their second dose matches the first.

"We want to make sure everyone over 16 has easy access to this life changing vaccination," said Dr. Susan Nelson, vice president of Physician Operations at NCH. "We encourage everyone in the community to protect themselves, their family and the larger community by getting vaccinated."

NCH is providing vaccines at this time to anyone over the age of 16. Although no appointment is necessary, patients that would prefer a scheduled time may make a reservation online at vaccineschedule.nch.org or by phone at (847) 618-0242.

There is no charge to the patient for the COVID-19 vaccine. An administration fee will be billed to your insurance.
