NCH answers vaccination questions at free webinars

Northwest Community Healthcare will provide two free Vaccination Town Hall events via Zoom.

Dr. Susan Nelson, NCH vice president of Physician Operations, will lead an English language town hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21.

Dr. Henry Dominicis, NCH physician director of Ambulatory Services, will lead a Spanish language town hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22.

"We know there are community members who still have questions about the vaccine, and our goal through the two town halls is to help our community learn the facts about the COVID-19 vaccine and get their questions answered," Nelson said.

"There are many questions and myths surrounding this vaccine, and by sharing the science about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine we hope to increase the vaccination rate in our communities."

Reservations are not required. It is free and open to all. Log on to the webinars at zoom.us/j/91305628460.

Both town halls will begin with a short presentation of COVID-19 vaccine information and be followed by a Q&A session. Questions may be submitted in advance at coronavirus@nch.org.

During the Zoom session, attendees will be able to send questions via the "chat" function to have those questions answered during the live event.
