Fabyan East pedestrian bridge closed for repairs Oct. 12-26

The pedestrian bridge at Fabyan East Forest Preserve in Geneva, will undergo repairs Oct. 12-26.

Alliance Contractors of Woodstock, Ill. will be conducting repairs to the concrete bridge abutments. Public access to the bridge will be usable the majority of the time, but there will be intermittent closures.

Repairs will begin Monday, Oct. 12 and are expected to be completed on Monday, Oct. 26, pending weather conditions.

Signs will be placed on the trail to notify the public of the possibility of intermittent closures. The Forest Preserve District asks trail users to exercise caution and be mindful of potential, brief closures during this time.
