Four Schaumburg Library Trustee Positions Open for April Election

Four positions on the Schaumburg Township District Library's Board of Trustees will be filled at the consolidated election on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. All four trustees will be elected to serve four-year terms (2021-2025). Candidate information packets are available for pick-up as of Monday, Sept 14 from the Business Office on the second floor of the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Packets may be obtained from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Each packet contains the basic information and forms needed to file as a candidate for the trustee election.

Petitions may be circulated beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22. The filing period runs from Monday, Dec. 14 through Monday, Dec. 21. Completed forms can only be accepted during the filing period and must be submitted to the Central Library's Business Office from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The dates and times at which candidates submit their petitions must be noted by the staff member who accepts them.
