Sign up for TriCity Family Services' Golftoberfest Sept. 14

TriCity Family Services, a nonprofit community mental health center serving central and southern Kane County, invites the public to "Golftoberfest" on Monday, Sept. 14. It will begin at 8 a.m. at Prairie Landing Golf Club, 2325 Longest Drive, West Chicago, voted by Golf Advisor as the #2 top public golf course in Illinois.

This year's golf outing kicks off in the morning and is co-chaired by James Alderfer and Michelle Rollins.

Registration and light breakfast opens at 6:45 a.m. Shotgun start is at 8 a.m.

Cost for the tournament is $185 per golfer or $740 per foursome. Lunch only is $35 per person.

It includes greens fee and cart, on-course games and gimmicks, raffles, prizes, two complimentary drink tickets, and a German-themed buffet lunch.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available.

Levels range from $200 as one of 18 Leder-Holesen Hole Sponsors, up to $3,000 as the exclusive Der Golf Meister Presenting Sponsor.

TriCity Family Services offers family-based counseling for children, teens, adults, and seniors for a variety of issues faced throughout the family life-cycle. The therapists are committed to providing compassionate and confidential counseling that empowers individuals and promotes family wellness.

They also offer family-based treatment for eating disorders. The practical, evidence-based outpatient approach recognizes parents as the best resource for their child's recovery, and uses a team model that includes the therapist, the family physician, family members, and other partners to achieve success.

TriCity Family Services offers emotional wellness workshops for children and teens that focus on anger management, conflict resolution, positive decision-making, and self-esteem development. For adults and seniors, various support groups meet regularly.

The center partners with employers to help employees achieve peak performance in the workplace and at home. Services include training seminars, wellness workshops, and individual counseling sessions.
