Low-cost youth soccer program at Waukegan SportsPark April 13-May 20

(Waukegan, IL): Heart of the City invites boys and girls born in 2006-2013 to participate in Spring Soccer Academy, a six-week coed program with a focus on player development.

The program, held at the Waukegan SportsPark Turf Field, will run April 13 through May 20. Practices will be on Monday nights from 6-7:15pm and games will be on Wednesday nights between 5:30-8pm.

Spring Soccer Academy is focused primarily on offering youth opportunities in soccer in a balanced, competitive setting. Heart of the City directors will assign players to teams based on skill and experience level to ensure good competition.

Additionally, each player is guaranteed playing time for at least one-half of each game, so that all players have the opportunity to learn, have fun and develop their soccer skills.

The league will be led by Heart of the City's licensed professional coaches and HOTC Elite travel club high school athletes.

Cost is $50. The first 100 girls register for only $25 - call for discount code. Each participant will receive a free Academy t-shirt.
