Dundee Township Park District's inaugural Winter 5K Happening Feb. 8

As the chilly temperatures of February descend, Dundee Township Park District will hold its inaugural Frozen Oaks 5K on Saturday, Feb. 8, to help keep you active this winter.

For those willing to brave the winter cold Saturday for the Frozen Oaks 5K, warm chili awaits runners after the race.

The race will take place at the Randall Oaks Golf Club, where you will twist and turn through the scenic Randall Oaks Golf Course!

All preregistered runners are guaranteed to receive an exclusive embroidered winter beanie hat

Registration can be done online at www.dtpd.org/frozen-oaks-5k or in-person until midnight February 4.

Download the registration form and return to either recreation center. Race day registration will be available from 9 to 9:45 a.m. The race is open to runners five years and older. Participation costs $25.

The Frozen Oaks 5K is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Randall Oaks Golf Club, located at 4101 Binnie Road in West Dundee. For more information visit www.dtpd.org
