Flu Shots Available at Schaumburg Library

Flu shots for anyone age six months and older will be available on three dates in October at the Schaumburg Township District Library's three locations in Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park. The vaccines are free with most insurance providers and will be administered by the Jewel-Osco Pharmacy Team. No registration is required, but anyone getting a vaccine should bring a medical insurance card.

Children, teens and adults can receive flu shots from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, in Workshop on the first floor of the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. The next session will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Rd., Hanover Park. The final flu shots will be administered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18 at the Hoffman Estates Branch Library, 1550 Hassell Rd., Hoffman Estates.
