What is a raptivist? Per the Urban Dictionary they are an activist who uses rap as the medium to speak to and motivate others. Join in FineRhyme's magnetic freestyle skills - the audience gives him the words, and he'll perform the rhyme, live and on the spot. FineRhyme also performs his original songs which will rock the house with a head-bobbing beat and flowing with depth, metaphor and alliteration. His custom-built pedal-powered sound system will feature familiar faces from the Barrington area pedaling for power, so come cheer them on!

Joey FineRhyme (born Joey Feinstein) is an educator, public speaker, raptivist and freestyle rhymer. Born and raised in Chicago, FineRhyme is the founder and Executive Director of Climate Cycle, an organization with a mission of inspiring students to green our world. He has helped secure solar panels onto 13 Chicago Public Schools and raised $1.3 million for environmental education and school-based projects.

"Driven by the belief that rhythm and rhyme are powerful tools to inspire action, the anchor for many of FineRhyme's lyrics returns to this ethos of Be the Change. His contagious passion and uncanny ability to rap and rhyme has been the rocket fuel for auditoriums of enthusiastic students, hungry to be part of the solution to address the most important issues of our time."
