Rev. Clinton G. Roberts Called As New Pastor Of First Presbyterian Church Of Lake Forest

Lake Forest, IL - September 9, 2019 - The congregation of the First Presbyterian Church unanimously elected the Rev. Clinton (Clint) G. Roberts to be the new Senior Pastor/Head of Staff for the church on July 7, 2019. Pastor Clint's ministry at the church begins this Sunday, September 15, at a 10:00 am worship service, followed by a meal. All members of the community are invited to attend this service, or on any following Sunday at either 9:00 or 11:00 am.

Pastor Clint has been serving as the Senior Pastor at Knox Presbyterian Church in Naperville for more than twenty years. From his first interview, Clint spoke of his passion for revitalizing congregations. His strengths include compassionate pastoral care, love of teaching, inspirational preaching, collaborating and strategic thinking. His spiritual depth and maturity are evident and inspiring.

Clint is an enthusiastic sailor and cyclist, and he loves classical music and cooking. He is an avid student of history. For his own spiritual nourishment, he takes a solitary retreat to the desert wilderness every year. Clint and his wife Deb are parents of a married son and daughter and grandparents to Grayce Mae and Pierce.
