To raise awareness of pediatric cancer, a trio of organizations -- Cal's Angels, Iron Gate Motor Condos and Lexus -- have partnered to craft a custom Lexus halo coupe through the "Wrapped in Hope" campaign.

The Cal's Angels Lexus LC 500 will be unveiled on Sunday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Iron Gate Motor Condos tent during the Geneva Concours d'Elegance held in downtown Geneva.

The custom-built, high-performance luxury vehicle, wrapped with the Cal's Angels logo and images, will debut that day and appear at several events throughout the year to support the fight against pediatric cancer.

"This project speaks to our organizations' mutual pledge to make children's lives better and to allow them to pursue their dreams," says Tom Burgess, owner of Iron Gate Motor Condos. "Just like this car is known for its solid construction and thundering engine, the collaborative effort to help children battling cancer is all about connections and strength."

After its first stop at the Geneva Concours d'Elegance, the "Wrapped in Hope" LC 500 will visit several local sites in September, which is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.

Those events include the Cal's Angels Glow Walk on Saturday, Sept. 28, and at various "Go Gold" pediatric cancer fundraising events at 20 local high schools.

In addition to the display of the new Cal's Angels Lexus LC 500, Iron Gate Motor Condos supports Cal's Angels throughout the year.

The organization's monthly "Chrome and Coffee" open houses are free, but donations are accepted for Cal's Angels. The next "Chrome and Coffee," focusing on antique/classic and Italian marques, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Iron Gate Motor Condos in Naperville.
