Dundee Township Park District offers free family nights

Join the Dundee Township Park District at Besinger Park in Carpentersville for free family fun.

Families are invited to attend the Family Nights at the Park Tuesday, July 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Besinger Park, 2 Pine St. in Carpentersville.

You'll be able to show off your face paint as you climb to high heights on the climbing palm tree; you must wear closed-toe shoes to climb. Test your miniature golf game and step up to the challenge of a game of knockout.

The 2-acre park has a basketball court, playground, and shelter.

Mark your calendar for the next Family Night Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Huffman Park, 811 Tartans Drive in West Dundee. It's time to take advantage of the Splash Pad. Thrill seekers can take a ride down the Splash Water Slide. Be on the lookout for Splash, the Dolphin Cove mascot.

Climb the climbing tree and participate in golf, baseball, soccer, and tennis challenges. You may even leave with your favorite balloon creation.
