On Friday, June 7, the Association for Individual Development will host its annual "Color Burst 5K Fun Run & Roll."

The 5K run will begin and end at the AID Elgin Community Day Services location, 1135 Bowes Road.

Packet pick-up/day-of registration begins at 6 p.m. with the race officially beginning at 7 p.m. There will also be a post-race fun fair with special local vendors.

Runners, walkers and wheelchair riders will be blasted with color in this fun-filled family event.

All proceeds benefit individuals with physical, developmental, intellectual and/or mental health challenges who receive AID services.

Operating in the greater Fox Valley area and other western suburban counties, the Association for Individual Development is a leading provider of services that address the needs of individuals throughout every stage of their lives.

Your donation helps AID provide vital, life-enriching services to over 5,500 individuals with developmental and mental health challenges in your community.

Cost is $30 for individuals or $100 for four; online fees apply.

• Ruby ($1,000-$4,999): Company logo on event materials, start/finish line, event Web page, social media and event email blasts; acknowledgment in AID newsletter, annual report and local newspaper; and four runners with official "Color Burst" T-shirts.

• Indigo ($750-$999): Company logo on event materials, start/finish line, event Web page, social media and event email blasts; acknowledgment in AID newsletter, annual report and local newspaper; and two runners with official "Color Burst" T-shirts.

• Violet ($500-$749): Company logo on event materials, start/finish line, event Web page, social media and event email blasts; acknowledgment in AID newsletter, annual report and local newspaper; and two runners with official "Color Burst" T-shirts.

• Amber ($300-$499): Company logo on event materials, start/finish line, event Web page, social media and event email blasts; acknowledgment in AID newsletter and annual report.
