Native Plant Gardening Presentation with Prairie Woods Audubon Society

The Prairie Woods Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. The aim of the Prairie Woods Audubon Society is to conserve the environment, preserve wildlife and natural habitats and provide opportunities for education, nature appreciation and fellowship. We host 7 meetings a year each with a different topic as well as a variety of birding events. Many of our meetings have special and unique presenters about nature topics. During April's meeting, "Native Plant Gardening" will be presented by Kelsay Shaw from Possibility Place Nursery, Monee, IL. We will learn about the importance of planting natives and how to incorporate them in our gardens. We hope you can join us!

Date: April 18 7PM-9PM

Order of meeting: 7PM-7:30PM socialization; 7:30PM-9PM presentation

Location: Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg
