HE parks has some great Preschool options for you!

Parents of preschoolers are invited to learn about the Hoffman Estates Park District (HE Parks) preschool programs.

HE Parks part-day preschool open houses are on Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 7-8 PM at Willow Recreation Center, 3600 Lexington Drive or on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 7-8 PM at the Triphahn Center at 1685 W. Higgins Road.

HE Parks' Early Learning and Care (ELC) program is a full-day preschool child care program at Triphahn Center open year-round from 7am-6pm for children 3-5 years old. The ELC open house will be Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9-10AM.

Parents and their children will tour the classrooms, meet the park district's skilled teaching staff, and learn about the program's philosophy and curriculum. The program philosophy is based on the belief that through developmentally appropriate instruction and a positive atmosphere for learning, children will develop the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills needed to prepare them for kindergarten. The curriculum incorporates a variety of learning activities designed to promote problem solving, creativity, self-expression and social skills. Students participate in a variety of activities every day including art, music, creative movement, dramatic play, math, science, and group discussions.
