Friends of HE Parks to host Girls Night Out fundraiser Feb 28.

Ladies are invited to a fun night out to benefit local families. The Girls Night Out event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, at First Place Sports Bar in Hoffman Estates.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of HE Parks. This 501(c)3 foundation supports the Hoffman Estates Park District (HE Parks) and provides scholarships to families in Hoffman Estates that are financially unable to enroll in our recreational programs such as youth sports, swimming lessons, camp, etc.

Tickets are $35 available at any park district facility and online at heparks.org and also available at the door. Includes two hours of open bar, a dinner buffet from 7-9 p.m., a chance to win amazing prizes and a Goodie Bags for the first 75 ladies.

About the Friends of HE Parks

The Friends of HE Parks is a group of dedicated community volunteers who raise money so that more residents can participate in and enjoy recreational opportunities, regardless of their social, physical or economic circumstances and limitations. Studies have shown that physical activity and recreation are imperative to maintaining health. Friends of HE Parks also helps fund needed community projects that enhance the physical, recreational, educational and cultural life for Hoffman Estates residents; such as an ADA compliant bus for summer camp or community field trips and the newly renovated 50+Club Game Room. The Friends of HE Parks also supports the iCompete Program that partners with Hoffman Estates High School students as mentors with at risk youth.
