Entries due by Jan. 7 for Norris Gallery's annual watercolor exhibit

Artists are invited to submit their work to be judged for inclusion in the Norris Gallery's Watercolor 2019 exhibit, featuring original works.

The entry deadline is Monday, Jan. 7. The artist may submit up to three works for consideration.

Watercolor 2019 will be on display starting Saturday, Feb. 23, through Sunday, April 14. An artists' reception will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17.

All submitted work must be original in concept and execution, and not previously exhibited in the Norris Gallery. Only original watercolors allowed (no reproductions, giclee or mixed media).

Make your nonrefundable entry fee check for $30, payable to Norris Cultural Arts Center.

New this year, the payment, application and images must be submitted through an online service via norrisculturalarts.com/call-for-entries-watercolor-2019/.

The Norris will retain 30 percent of the selling price on each work sold in the gallery to defray operating expenses. Artists will be notified of the sale of their work and receive a check within 4 weeks of the close of the show.

Artists are encouraged to submit a resume or artist statement to be displayed during the show.
