Palatine Park District Offers Additional Fall Classes at Harper College

Through an intergovernmental agreement signed in 2016, Harper College and Palatine Park District have entered into a partnership to provide recreational programming in the newly renovated Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center located in Building M on the Harper College Campus.

New classes offered in conjunction with Harper College's Continuing Education program will be held from November 4 through December 23. Fitness classes in this Fall session include Turbokick®, Cardio Blast, Rip N Ride, Country Heat, 360 Toning, Tabata, Mat Pilates, PiYo®, Gentle Yoga, and Yoga for Athletes. Dance classes for this session include Choreography and Jazz. In the sports category, drop-in 18+ Pickleball is offered on various days and times each week. Drop-in Water Aerobics passes can be purchased for classes that are offered five days per week. Annual indoor pool passes are available for purchase and daily single use passes for those interested in trying the facility. Open swim and lap swim times are offered throughout the week; the complete schedule can be viewed at hrc.palatineparks.org. Indoor pool rentals and birthday pool parties can also be booked in the aquatics center. Additional new sessions of fitness, aquatics, dance, and sports classes and programs will begin in January 2019. For more information look for the Palatine Park District winter program catalog available in facilities and online at palatineparks.org the week of November 12.
