Neighbors in the News: Seasons 52 partner earns exclusive company recognition

• Gina Brown, managing partner of Seasons 52, 1770 E. Higgins Road, in Schaumburg, has achieved Diamond Club status, the highest recognition from parent company Darden Restaurants. She was recognized for her commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, while making a difference in the lives of guests, team members, as well as in her community.

Brown joins an elite group of four managing partners selected from the 43 Seasons 52 restaurants in North America, making this a truly exclusive honor.

Brown attributes her professional success to her mentor, who held her accountable, guided her and trusted her.

• Kathy Fielding, North Suburban YMCA, Northbrook, vice president of Membership Engagement, Marketing and Programs was honored by the YMCA Illinois State Alliance with the 2018 Tom Stoll Award, for her accomplishments and leadership.

The award is presented to "a YMCA professional on the ascending edge of service who has developed outstanding executive or operational leadership and loyalty."

Fielding received the award at the Alliance's Illinois Fall Staff Rally in Normal, on Sept. 28.

A North Suburban YMCA employee since 2011, Fielding began her Y career as a front desk customer service representative. She now oversees the Y's efforts in membership, marketing, and all programming, including summer day camp, youth after-school care, wellness, performing and visual arts, special needs, and aquatics.

• Northwest Community Healthcare Medical Group welcomed Dr. Tingting Zhou, to its practice at 1538 N. Arlington Heights Road.

Zhou earned her medical degree from Jining Medical College in China and completed her internal medicine residency at the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. After coming to the United States, she earned a nursing degree from Loyola University of Chicago and completed an additional residency in internal medicine at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park.

Her specialties and interests include preventive medicine and care for adults with complex medical conditions such as heart disease, asthma, COPD and diabetes. Zhou is also fluent in Chinese Mandarin.
