Property Tax Appeals Seminar Scheduled for Sept. 5, at Township of Schaumburg

August 17, 2018 - Township of Schaumburg Assessor, John R. Lawson, along with State Senator Laura Murphy, State Representative Michelle Mussman, Cook County Commissioner Timothy Schneider and the Township Mayors (Craig Johnson Elk Grove Village, William McLeod Hoffman Estates, Rodney Craig Hanover Park, Len Prejna Rolling Meadows, Andrew Maglio Roselle, Al Larson Schaumburg, Billie Roth Streamwood) in conjunction with the Cook County Assessor's Office, will host an educational appeals seminar on September 5th from 6:30-8:30pm.

The free event will be held at One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

The seminar will include a presentation followed by a question and answer period. The Cook County Assessor's Office speakers will explain how property taxes are calculated and explore tips on how to file a successful appeal. Township and Cook County Assessor's Office staff will be available to assist residents in filing appeals on site.
