Elgin Community College will hold an adult student information session from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, in the Building B Alumni Room, Room B182, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

Adults who are considering returning to school or enrolling in college for the first time are invited to attend the free event.

During the event, knowledgeable ECC staff will help attendees navigate the admissions process; explore degree and certificate options that fit their specific lifestyle and career goals; evaluate prior college credit and explore proficiency credit options; understand financial aid, scholarships and payment plans; and learn about additional college resources including tutoring, academic advising and career services.

Preregistration is encouraged.
