Visiting Angels event to raise money for MS

Visiting Angels of South Elgin, a local home-care agency, will be hosting "Fashion in a Flash," a cabi fashion experience, from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2.

The event is a fundraiser that features cabi clothing, a company offering stylish clothing that speaks to all ages. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.

Mary Cherry, an independent cabi stylist, will be the presenter and will share style tips on how to coordinate your own signature look, as well as how to be a savvy shopper.

The clothing company is gaining ground in the area.

"cabi's clothing line is very impressive. I own several of their pieces," says Sara George of Visiting Angels. "I also like the company mission, to empower women entrepreneurs in the developing world."

This fundraiser will take place at Visiting Angels of South Elgin, 65 Woodbury St. in South Elgin.
