How the Grinch Stole Christmas has become an indelible part of the holiday season. The children's story by Dr. Seuss first published in 1957, has stood the test of time and ranks #61 in a survey among the Top 100 Picture Books by the School Library Journal.
The Grinch is a grouchy, solitary creature with a dog named Max who becomes a raindeer to pull the sleigh. The Grinch hates Christmas so much that he is determined to end Christmas in the little town of Whoville. In the end the Whoville residents prove that the spirit of Christmas means more than just feasting and presents; and the grouchy, old Grinch joins the residents of Whoville in the feast with a big smile and an even bigger heart.
Join us as our very talented cultural arts community team brings this holiday classic to life right before your eyes! Directing the production is Brian Scholz of St. John the Evangelist Church, Streamwood. Brian has a wealth of talent and has directed a number of community theater events.
Patrons will enjoy a live show, pizza dinner, raffle prizes (1 raffle ticket included with each purchased ticket), and cookie decorating. Fun for the whole family!
