Jackpot! Fundraiser helps North Suburban YMCA provide free programing

North Suburban YMCA's fundraising dinner and casino night, an event that helps provide free programs and services, was held at Loft 21 in Lincolnshire Friday, May 6.

One of two "Community Strong" fundraisers - the other being a July 21 golf outing and patio party - the events help fund the North Suburban YMCA's financial assistance scholarships and support its operations and community programs.

Silent and live auctions and an after-dinner casino were part of the event, which was attended by 300 people.

Among the live auction items were premium seats for Chicago White Sox, Cubs and Bulls games, a day of golf for a threesome at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield, a trip to Costa Rica and a private chef's culinary dinner for 10 curated by Chef Jordan Spritz.

Located in Northbrook, the North Suburban YMCA serves 15 communities.
