Two men charged with Schaumburg home invasion

Two men who authorities say threatened a Schaumburg man involved in a domestic dispute with a relative were charged with home invasion.

Arjun Sidhu, 32, of Aurora, and Michael Denicolo, 31, of Bartlett, were held on $20,000 bail each on Friday. Cook County Judge Ellen Mandeltort ordered the men have no contact with the accuser and to surrender any weapons they possess as well as any FOID or concealed carry license cards.

According to prosecutors, the Schaumburg man was involved in a domestic dispute with a relative of Sidhu and Denicolo on Thursday, and later that day the two had an argument with the Schaumburg man, who shut the door. At some point, Sidhu forced open the door, flipped a table and struck the man who fell onto a couch, said Assistant Cook County State's Attorney Kristina Modesto.

Denicolo, who prosecutors say has a concealed carry permit, then produced a gun and told the man he had to leave the house by Saturday, Modesto said.

Security camera footage from outside the home showed Denicolo's vehicle pull up in front of the residence, Modesto said.

Prosecutors confirmed that the Schaumburg man was in custody on a domestic matter.

Sidhu and Denicolo will next appear in court on Sept. 17.
