Schaumburg concert to support gathering of Native American veterans

The Trickster Cultural Center in Schaumburg will host a live concert at 7 p.m. Friday, July 9, at Schaumburg's Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts to support the 7th annual National Gathering of American Indian Veterans.

The gathering is scheduled to take place from Friday, July 16, through Sunday, July 18, at Cantigny Park in Wheaton.

The concert at 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg will feature world champion fancy dancer Larry Yazzie, classical guitarist and lifetime achievement award winner Gabriel Ayala and three-time Grammy winner Bill Miller.

Advance tickets cost $25 for the general public and $15 for veterans and children under 18. At the door, tickets will cost $35 for the general public and $25 for veterans and children under 18.
