Meeting on Darrell Road project in Wauconda Twp. set for March 31

A virtual public information meeting to discuss the planned improvement of Darrell Road in Wauconda Township will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 31.

The purpose of this final meeting is to present the preferred alternative, project schedule and gather public input.

The project calls for roundabouts on Darrell Road at Case, Dowell and Fisher roads, and the realignment of Case Road north to meet with the existing intersection at Neville Road.

A presentation will be followed by a public question-and-answer session with representatives from the Lake County Division of Transportation and the consultant.

Registration is required at https://www.lakecountyil.gov/191/Transportation. Comments and questions can be submitted during the meeting or afterward online. Anyone needing special assistance should call (847) 377-7452 by March 26.
