Kuma's Corner closes restaurants temporarily

Kuma's Corner, a burger and beer franchise, decided to temporarily cease all business operations on Wednesday at its four Illinois locations in Schaumburg, Vernon Hills and two in Chicago, according to their Facebook sites.

Their post read “We value the safety of our employees and the safety of the protesters. We stand in support of justice and against inequality. Please consider supporting black-owned businesses or donate to an organization fighting for justice.”

That message was followed by Martin Luther King Jr's quote “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

There was no mention of when the restaurants would reopen.
